Our Favorite Routes

Columbus and the surrounding area has a little bit to offer for every type of cyclists. 

For road cyclists, Columbus offers a variety of terrain and scenery. Battle the steep, short hills as you ride through wooded areas out west of Columbus. Fly along the smooth, flat country roads past old barns and small towns on a ride east or north of Columbus. 

For those who like to play in the dirt, check out Brown County State Park and Nashville, IN. Brown County State Park offers some of the Midwest's best mountain bike riding for all levels of talent. Nashville, IN offers winding, rolling gravel roads perfect for your next adventure.

Columbus's Greatest Hits

This is a longer, hiller route that covers all of Columbus's most popular Strava segments and roads. It's got a infamous climbs like Youth Camp Hill and the crowd-pleasing Atterbury Rollers included on this 50 mi. route.

Pancake Flat

This route explores the North East corners of Columbus on flat, fast country roads. It's a great ride for those looking for speed and wonderful scenery. About 25 miles in length it's perfect for a quick afternoon spin.

South to Small Towns

Explore the small towns of southern Indiana with a jaunt down to Aliza, IN. This is a short, flat 20 mile route that features more of the beautiful agricultural scenery.

Nashville Gravel

Get lost in the gravel in Nashville, IN on this 27 mile loop. Nashville is perfect for gravel riding with a spiderweb or gravel roads and climbs that is exciting for gravel veterans and rookies alike.

Brown County Flow

For those looking to "shred the gnar" and "become one with the dirt" this route is for you. Hobbs Hollow is one of the best known flow trails in BCSP and with a technical climb up Hesitation Point this route will keep you coming back for more.

Brown County Sampler

Our go to loop for Brown County State Park. It's got a little bit of something for everything. A beginnner friendly warm-up, rolling flow trail and some wicked downhill.

From Hope with Love

This is a flat, 30 mile route that explores that two small towns north of Columbus. Hope, IN is known for locally for their Hope Ride each year that is attended by hundreds of riders. Their town square is sure to make you feel at home. 

Elevation Gain

Get the most elevation gain Columbus, IN has to offer with this ride out west of town. What these hills lack in length they make up for in steepness with multiple segments on this 30 mile route spiking up to 10% or more.

People Trail Loop

Experience Columbus's world-class, pedestrian-friendly community with a relaxing lap on the People Trail. This is a pedestrian-only paved path and group of roads that link Columbus together. It's a short, 12 mile route that's sure to be a crowd favorite.
