1 Returns & Warranties

Returns are accepted within 30 days of when your order was placed. We will only issue refunds for returns that have not been installed or used. All original packaging materials must be included and in new condition. If there were any tags, they must still be attached.

Item(s) must be shipped back in the same type of packing as when you received it from us. Do not ship anything back in the manufacturer's box with any writing or shipping labels on the product box.

If the product has been installed or used, if the package is missing original items, or if the product box had been damaged or if the quality has been reduced the item will not be eligible for a refund. At our discretion, some of these items may be accepted with a restocking fee since that item will not be able to be resold as new. In certain cases if an item has been returned to us with extensive damage or use we may not be able to refund any of the purchase price. 

If you are unsure about the condition of a product you would like to return, please contact us prior to shipping your item(s) back to us.

No. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of when you placed your order.

Most manufacturers prefer to process warranties directly or at your local dealer. If you do not have a local dealer, we can process a warranty claim for you. Please be aware that processing a warranty through The Bicycle Station may take additional time as we must have the product back in order to begin the warranty process. The Bicycle Station does not ship out replacement parts or items until a warranty has been finalized by the manufacturer.

If you are purchasing clothing, shoes, sunglasses, or other items you wear, please try it on and wear it around indoors. Please leave the tags on until you are sure you would like to keep the item.

If you are not sure if your item will fit your bike, reach out to us so we can help you get the right fit the first time! If any items are mounted on your bike prior to deciding to submit a return, the item(s) may not be accepted or may be subject to a restocking fee.

Bicycles and frames are not eligible for returns or exchanges. If your item(s) were damaged in shipping, please email us at [email protected] immediately upon opening with photos of the damage.

We do not accept returns on any custom builds or parts that have been modified to fit your needs. 

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please submit a return for the item(s) you do not need, then place a new order for the correct item. Any refund will be issued once we receive the returned item.

Refunds will be processed once your return has been received and inspected to ensure it is in new condition. You will be notified when the refund has been processed on our end. Please allow 3-5 business days for your bank to process your return. If you know that we have received your return and you have not received a notification, email us at [email protected].

Items that have been mounted to your bike, even if they have not been ridden, will be subject to a restocking fee because we will not be able to sell it as a new product. In cases where an item has been returned with extensive damage or use we may not be able to issue any refund.

2 Orders & Shipping

At the moment we do not offer financing. Check back for financing options coming up!

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be changed. You may request to return your order within 30 days of purchase.

Most orders placed Monday-Friday will ship out within one business day. Orders placed before 12:00pm Eastern are typically shipped out the same day. If you placed an order on a holiday, Saturday, or Sunday it will be shipped out the next business day.

Custom builds or parts will take additional time as they must be entered into our service queue. Please email us for current timelines to make sure you receive your order in time.

If you have selected an express shipping service from FedEx or UPS, standard delivery days are Monday-Friday. If you need an item delivered on the weekend you must select Saturday Delivery. 

Have you checked your spam folder? If you are still unable to find your order confirmation, please contact us and we will manually send you the confirmation email.

Your order may not have shipped yet. Tracking notifications are sent once your order is boxed up. If you have checked your spam folder and still can't find your tracking information, please email us.

If you are unable to locate your order once it has been scanned as delivered, you must contact The Bicycle Station within 3 days of the delivery scan. We will reach out to the shipping facility and will begin the process of locating your order. If it has been more than 3 days, you will need to contact your local shipping facility directly.

Once orders have been shipped we cannot remove the signature requirement. You may be able to reroute your package to a convenient pickup location. 

Shipping carriers may experience delays during peak holiday season. Keep an eye on your tracking number for the most up-to-date info on your order. Reach out to us with other questions.

3 International Shipping

No, at the moment we are only shipping within the United States.

Within the last few years, supplies chains have been inconsistent. We cannot guarantee that an ETA will be accurate. Please reach out to us for additional information.

The Bicycle Station is headquartered in Columbus, Indiana. We have great road riding out the shop door, and have endless gravel and mountain biking within a 25 minute drive from the shop. We have two brick & mortar locations.

We're a family-owned bike shop that has been in Columbus, Indiana for 30 years. In 2021 it was purchase by David Haeberle and Jesse & Chase Smith. We have an excellent management team (shoutout to Trey & Grace!) and a great staff to help you with all your bicycle needs. We're all real people who really love to ride our bikes.
